Job summary

The IS Systems Administrator at MTSI supports both Classified SAP/SCI systems and Unclassified enterprise systems. You will install software releases, apply patches, manage backups, and ensure system health across Windows environments while delivering strong end‑user support.

Work with the IS Security Team to align with NIST RMF, patch management, and security hardening. A fast‑paced environment requires collaboration and proactive problem solving.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Information Systems or related field or equivalent experience.
• Security+ or equivalent security certification is required.
• Experience supporting classified information systems in a Service Desk environment is preferred.
• Proficiency with Windows OS installation, patching, and remote administration.
• Familiarity with RMF/NIST requirements and security hardening practices.

Responsibilities

• Administer and support Windows servers and enterprise systems.
• Configure Active Directory Users and Groups; manage permissions.
• Apply patches, manage antivirus, backups, and disaster recovery plans.
• Troubleshoot network issues and provide end‑user support for SAP/SCI environments.
• Coordinate with IS Security Team on compliance and security standards.
