Job summary

TexomaCare, affiliated with Texoma Medical Center, is seeking an IT Support Specialist to perform analysis, testing, and installation for new hardware and software. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, manage tickets, and provide help desk coverage across the Texoma region.

The role requires collaboration with the IS team, travel to remote Texoma locations, and a commitment to the department's mission. Strong Windows/Microsoft Office skills are essential.

Qualifications

  • High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one year of experience in software and hardware support for end users.
  • Knowledge of Windows operating systems and Microsoft applications.
  • Willingness to travel to remote sites.

Responsibilities

  • Perform analysis, testing and installation for new hardware and software.
  • Troubleshoot and repair existing equipment, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products.
  • Work collaboratively with other staff to resolve customer issues.
  • Document tickets in the help desk system.

Qualifications
  • Reading and numerical competency. High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
  • Minimum of one (1) year of experience in software and hardware support for end users, preferably in an enterprise environment.
  • Knowledge of computer operating systems; all Windows versions. Ability to analyze and resolve issues within established timeframes. Knowledge of desktop applications including most Microsoft applications. Ability to organize and prioritize time based on directives. Ability to travel to remote sites, which requires dependable transportation.
  • Ability to work a flexible schedule as assigned.
