Job summary

TexomaCare, a part of Universal Health Services, seeks an IT Support Technician to perform analysis, testing, and installation for new hardware and software. You will troubleshoot and repair equipment, support Windows 10 and Microsoft Office, and document tickets in the help desk system.

Some travel to remote Texoma locations is required. Join IPM’s Information Systems Department and support a hospital network across multiple locations, contributing to reliable technology services for patient

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency is required.

Texoma Medical Center is a 414-bed acute care facility located in Denison, Texas, approximately one hour north of the Dallas/Fort Worth metroplex and just south of the Texas/Oklahoma border. POSITION SUMMARY:Perform analysis, testing and installation for new hardware and software. Troubleshoot and repair existing equipment, Windows 10 and Microsoft Office products. Work collaboratively with other staff to resolve customer issues. Document tickets in the help desk system. Provide customer support through Help Desk coverage and technical support. Assist with connectivity issues. Takes call on a rotating basis. Some travel to remote locations in the Texoma area. Fully support the mission of the Information Systems Department.

Qualifications

• Reading and numerical competency. High School Graduate or Equivalent required.
• Minimum of one (1) year of experience in software and hardware support for end users, preferably in an enterprise environment.
• Knowledge of computer operating systems; all Windows versions. Ability to analyze and resolve issues within established timeframes. Knowledge of desktop applications including most Microsoft applications. Ability to organize and prioritize time based on directives. Ability to travel to remote sites, which requires dependable transportation.
• Ability to work a flexible schedule as assigned.
