Pyrotek, Inc. is seeking an IS Support Analyst 1 to join our Information Systems team at the Sanborn, NY facility.

This hands-on role will support employees with hardware, software, and endpoint needs, acting as the first line of assistance for IT issues and helping maintain smooth operations. You will install, configure, and troubleshoot systems, work on projects with IS colleagues, and provide clear user documentation.

Qualifications

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in PC or IT support in an IS environment is preferred.
• CompTIA, MCSA, or equivalent certifications are a plus.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license (and passport or ability to obtain one).

Responsibilities

Essential Duties and Responsibilities

Are you passionate about technology and helping people solve IT challenges? Join our Information Systems (IS) team as an IS Support Analyst 1 - a hands-on, customer-focused role supporting our employees' technology needs across hardware, software, and endpoints.

You’ll be the first line of support, installing and configuring new systems, resolving technical issues, and helping to keep our operations running smoothly. You will assist other IS team members by working on projects and taking on more complex troubleshooting, as well.

Schedule: Monday - Friday, 8a - 5p in our Sanborn, NY manufacturing facility.

What You’ll Do

As an IS Support Analyst 1, you will:

Qualifications

Education & Experience

• High school diploma required; associate or bachelor's degree preferred.
• Experience in PC or IT support preferred - especially within an Information Systems environment.
• Microsoft or IS-related certifications (CompTIA, MCSA, etc.) are a plus.
• Must have a valid U.S. driver's license (and passport or ability to obtain one).

Technical Skills

• Proficiency with Microsoft Windows OS and Microsoft Office Suite.
• Familiarity with basic networking/Wi-Fi, PC hardware, and software support.
• Strong documentation, diagnostic, and organizational skills.

Soft Skills

• Excellent communication and customer service abilities.
• Proven problem-solving and critical thinking skills.
• Team-oriented with a strong sense of ownership and accountability.
• Adaptable, reliable, and professional under pressure.

What to Expect

• Primarily office-based work with occasional visits to manufacturing sites.
• Must be able to sit, lift up to 25 lbs, and wear appropriate PPE when required.
• Travel by car and air up to 20%, mostly within the U.S.

The minimum and maximum hourly range for this full-time position is $27.00 - $33.00 + benefits.

Our salary ranges are determined by role, level and location. Within the range, individual pay is determined by work location and additional factors, including but not limited tojob-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training. Please note that the compensation details listed in this posted role reflect the base salary only and do not include bonus or benefits.
