The IS Training Educator works as a member of the Training Team, developing and delivering education programs designed to increase end-user competence and productivity in the use of information technologies. This role creates and maintains training curriculum, including course descriptions, outlines, practice exercises, tip sheets, assessments, and other educational materials. The educator conducts instructor-led training sessions in both in-person and virtual environments and assists Human Resources with new employee onboarding activities related to training registration, scheduling, and communication. The position partners with Visual Learning Developers to create eLearning modules by developing process flows and storyboards that align content with learning objectives. The IS Training Educator collaborates with team members to identify and measure performance gaps by establishing goals, gathering and analyzing data, and implementing improvement strategies. Serving as a liaison between Information Services and the clinical end-user community, this role supports technology adoption and workflow improvements. Strong facilitation, communication, and change management skills are essential, along with the ability to work independently and effectively learn and utilize new technologies.
