SOLTECHPR is seeking an IS Business Analyst Consultant to translate business needs into clear requirements, process improvements, documentation, and solution-readiness deliverables for a public-sector client.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to support business discovery, requirements validation, process analysis, implementation alignment, testing coordination, and closeout documentation.

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst or similar role with strong requirement gathering and stakeholder coordination.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; bilingual English/Spanish preferred.

• Document, validate, and maintain business and technical requirements.
• Conduct process and gap analysis, and support risk identification.
• Develop BA deliverables: logs, records, process docs, traceability, tests, closeout records.
• Assist planning, roadmap updates, dependencies, and implementation alignment.
• Coordinate follow-up with stakeholders and support testing coordination.

Summary:

SOLTECHPR is seeking anIS Business Analyst Consultant to support digital transformation initiatives for a public-sector client. This role will help translate business needs into clear requirements, process improvements, documentation, and solution-readiness deliverables.

The consultant will work closely with business stakeholders, technical teams, and project leadership to support business discovery, requirements validation, process analysis, implementation alignment, testing coordination, and closeout documentation.

Scope of Work / Key Responsibilities:

• Support business discovery, stakeholder coordination, and requirements elicitation activities.
• Document, validate, and maintain business and technical requirements.
• Conduct process analysis, gap analysis, and risk identification.
• Develop and maintain business analysis deliverables, including:
  • Requirements logs
  • Meeting records
  • Process documentation
  • Traceability matrices
  • Templates
  • Analysis artifacts
  • Planning materials
  • Testing support documentation
  • Closeout records
• Support planning, prioritization, roadmap updates, dependency tracking, and implementation alignment.
• Coordinate follow-up activities with business and technical stakeholders.
• Support execution activities, including issue tracking, testing coordination, status updates, and documentation maintenance.
• Assist with validation of business outcomes, post-implementation review, knowledge transfer, and transition documentation.
• Help ensure deliverables support solution delivery, business readiness, compliance expectations, and operational alignment.

Required Qualifications:

• Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business Administration, Engineering, Project Management, Computer Science, or related field.
• Experience as a Business Analyst, IS Business Analyst, Systems Analyst, Process Analyst, or similar role.
• Strong understanding of business process analysis, requirements gathering, documentation, and stakeholder coordination.
• Experience working with both technical and non-technical teams.
• Ability to organize information clearly and translate business needs into actionable deliverables.
• Strong written and verbal communication skills.
• Bilingual fluency in English and Spanish preferred.
• Experience supporting digital transformation, workflow improvement, or technology implementation initiatives.

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience in government, public sector and/or regulated industries.
• Familiarity with Smartsheet or similar collaboration/project tracking tools.
• Experience with user stories, process mapping, requirements traceability, UAT support, and solution implementation documentation.
• Knowledge of change management, training support, and business readiness activities.

This person should be able to support structured analysis activities while also maintaining high-quality documentation and helping stakeholders move from business needs to actionable solutions.

Pay Range: $33-$37 per hour
