Job summary

Prosegur is hiring an Unarmed Security Officer for the swing shift in Irvine, CA. The role requires maintaining safety, patrolling facilities, monitoring access, and reporting incidents with professional client interactions. You must meet security licensing requirements, have at least one year of security and CCTV experience, and possess strong English communication skills.

Weekly pay is provided. Pay rate is $19.13 per hour with full-time hours from 1:30pm to 10:00pm, Monday through Friday.

Qualifications

• 18+ years of age.
• Minimum 1 year security experience.
• Minimum 1 year CCTV monitoring experience.
• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Valid CA Guard Card.
• Excellent written and verbal English communication.
• Ability to follow complex instructions.
• Strong interpersonal skills.
• Willingness to participate in screening processes.
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation.

Responsibilities

• Maintain a safe and secure environment for customers and employees.
• Observe, report, and correct hazards to promote safety.
• Comply with Prosegur and client requirements and post instructions.
• Participate in training and safety procedures.
• Interact professionally with clients, visitors, and staff.
• Perform routine foot patrols and light to moderate lifting.
• Monitor entrances/exits to guard against theft and security breaches.
• Log inbound/outbound activity and issue badges as needed.
• Prepare detailed reports of incidents and daily activities.
