BCS Consultants, a nationally recognized, woman-owned technology integration firm, seeks a meticulous Low Voltage Estimator / Designer in Irvine. You will translate customer requirements into accurate scopes of work, BOMs, proposals, and installation-ready designs, partnering with project managers, vendors, and field technicians.

The role centers on estimating, designing, site surveys, and ensuring practical, install-ready solutions for commercial low-voltage systems. Travel to sites as needed.

Qualifications

• 3+ years in low-voltage estimating, system design, or related commercial tech role.
• Experience estimating, BOMs, scopes of work, and proposals.
• Ability to read and interpret construction drawings and tech plans.

Responsibilities

• Develop estimates for commercial low-voltage projects from drawings and conditions.
• Review drawings to identify requirements and installation challenges.
• Create scopes of work, BOMs, proposals, and pricing.
• Design and lay out low-voltage systems per standards and best practices.
• Estimate labor, materials, equipment, and subcontractor costs.
• Perform site surveys to verify conditions and gather data.
• Prepare clear proposals and supporting documentation.
