Job summary

Memorial Park Conservancy is seeking an Irrigation Technician to support irrigation and turf health across Memorial Park. You will perform inspections, preventative maintenance, and fieldwork with guidance from the Irrigation Coordinator to ensure reliable, efficient irrigation and healthy turf conditions.

Responsibilities include monitoring systems, repairing components, applying pesticides and fertilizers under supervision, and documenting all work.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in irrigation, turf management, landscape or grounds maintenance.
• Basic knowledge of irrigation components (controllers, valves, heads, dripline).
• Ability to identify problems and perform routine troubleshooting and repairs.

Responsibilities

• Assist Irrigation Coordinator with daily irrigation and turf health priorities.
• Inspect and maintain irrigation infrastructure and components.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and adjust irrigation systems under supervision.
• Assist with programming and system adjustments based on site conditions.
• Document inspections, repairs, chemical applications, and work performed.
