Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems for our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties. You will troubleshoot, test, and adjust valves, sensors, and controllers while performing routine inspections.

Responsibilities include installing lines, replacing components, reading site maps, and ensuring safety practices. A valid driver's license and ability to lift up to 50 lbs are required, with Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience with installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass MVR review
• Proficiency with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment and hand/power tools
• Spanish language skills are a plus
• Able to read irrigation site maps and legends
• Must be able to work outdoors in extreme temperatures and lift up to 50 lbs

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including valves, belts, switches, and contacts
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated
• Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, sprinkler heads and fixtures
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines
• Conducts and records detailed inspections of irrigation systems
• May assist in various maintenance activities as required
• Promotes safety and environmental practices in the workplace
• Uses hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation duties
• Performs miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned
