Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems for our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties. The role involves installing and repairing valves, hoses, pipes, sprinkler heads, and fixtures, while testing and troubleshooting various irrigation components.

The candidate should have at least 1 year of hands-on irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to work outdoors for long periods in varying temperatures.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of experience with installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to clear MVR.
• Proficient with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment (hand and power tools).
• Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including valves, switches, and contacts.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• Replaces or repairs irrigation hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts inspections of irrigation systems and records results.
• Use of hand and power equipment for landscape and irrigation duties.
