Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems for our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties. The role focuses on installing and repairing valves, controllers, heads, hoses, pipes, and fittings while reading site maps and testing systems.

Responsibilities include troubleshooting, operating and adjusting timers, and ensuring safety and environmental practices. The candidate should be comfortable working outdoors and able to lift up to 50 lbs, with

Qualifications

• 1 year of experience installing, inspecting, and repairing irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license with ability to pass MVR
• Ability to read irrigation site maps and legends
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment and tools
• Spanish language skills a plus
• Must be able to work outside in extreme temperatures and direct sunlight
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and use hand/power tools
• Certifications/licenses needed for local market must be obtained/maintained

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems (valves, belts, switches, contacts).
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Turns systems on/off as designated.
• Repairs/replaces hoses, pipes, sprinkler heads, and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines and valves.
• Conducts and records inspections of irrigation systems.
• Promotes safety and environmental practices.
• Performs miscellaneous duties as assigned.
