Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Oregon seeks an Irrigation Technician to install and maintain irrigation systems across parks and green spaces. You will operate trenchers and soil compactors, diagnose issues, and perform seasonal startup and winterizations.

You will work outdoors in varying weather, inspect systems, replace valves, install sensors, and ensure water-saving upgrades. A valid driver’s license and irrigation license are preferred; training is offered and pay is negotiable.

Qualifications

• 1–5 years of landscape irrigation experience required.
• Knowledge of mechanical gate valves and brass valve rebuild preferred.
• Understanding of irrigation controller hardware and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Conduct detailed irrigation inspections and document repairs.
• Clean water features and excavate with hand tools.
• Install controllers, sensors, and rain/soil moisture devices.
• Perform seasonal start ups and winterizations.
• Record materials and labor for each job.
