Job summary

BrightView Landscapes in Memphis seeks an Irrigation Technician to join our team and help install, inspect, and repair irrigation systems with a focus on proactive maintenance and quality service.

You will monitor new installations, troubleshoot issues, and manage start-ups and winterization while conducting thorough inspections and upgrades as needed. A valid driver’s license and irrigation experience are required; Spanish language skills are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of productive experience in installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license is required.
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing is essential.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a nice-to-have.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of irrigation systems.
• Conduct and record detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
