Job summary

BrightView Colorado Springs is seeking an Irrigation Technician to monitor and test installations, troubleshoot issues, and ensure proper start-ups and winterization of irrigation systems for client sites. We require at least 1 year of experience in installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems, and a valid driver’s license.

Knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing is essential. Spanish bilingualism is a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum 1 year of productive experience in installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.

Responsibilities

• Monitoring and testing new installations, troubleshoot and repair problems, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups, winterization and overall operation of the irrigation system.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
• Must be able to gain access to Ft. Carson
