Job summary

BrightView is seeking an Irrigation Technician to join our maintenance team in Elmhurst, IL. You will monitor and test irrigation installations, troubleshoot issues, and help ensure reliable system operation for our clients.

A valid driver's license is required, with at least 1 year in installation, inspection or repair of irrigation systems. Spanish bilingual skills and knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, and pipe sizing are a plus.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year productive experience in installation, inspection and repair of irrigation systems.
• A valid driver’s license.
• Good knowledge of trenchers, multi-meters, wire locators, ditchers and pipe sizing.
• Bilingual in Spanish is a plus.
• Ability to create and read site map colored charts/legends.

Responsibilities

• Monitor and test new installations, troubleshoot and repair, observe pipe and valve placements, and evaluate start-ups and winterization.
• Conducting and recording detailed inspections and plan/execute upgrades of client systems.
