Job summary

Juniper is seeking an Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair irrigation systems on our Commercial Landscape Maintenance properties. This role requires at least 1 year of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, and the ability to read irrigation site maps.

You will troubleshoot, test, and repair systems, operate timers and controls, lift up to 50 lbs, and obtain local certifications. We offer health/dental/vision insurance, 401K, PTO, and growth opportunities.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 1 year of experience with installation, inspection, and repair of irrigation systems.
• Valid driver’s license required with ability to clear Motor Vehicle Record review.
• Proficient with conventional and two-wire irrigation systems.
• Knowledge of irrigation equipment (hand and power tools).
• Ability to read irrigation site maps and legends. Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Maintains and repairs irrigation systems including replacing valves, fan belts, switches, and contacts.
• Monitors, troubleshoots, and tests irrigation systems.
• Turns irrigation systems on and off as designated.
• Repairs and replaces hoses, pipes, and sprinkler heads and fixtures.
• Operates timers, clocks, and controls for sprinklers.
• Installs or repairs irrigation lines.
• Conducts inspections of irrigation systems and records results.
• May assist in other maintenance tasks as required.
