Job summary

Harbour Ridge in Palm City, FL is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician to maintain and repair sprinkler systems across villages and club areas. A minimum of 3 years’ field experience, a Florida Driver’s License, and irrigation training/certificates are required.

Day shifts with occasional after-hours service calls may be required. You will organize tools, report inventory needs, and prepare weekly work reports while ensuring safety and water efficiency.

Job Summary

Maintain and repair all irrigation sprinkler heads, underground breaks and leaks at villages, club and POA areas to meet Harbour Ridge specifications and standards.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following, but are not limited to:

• Repair and maintain all aspects of the irrigation system in a safe and professional manner.
• Report all needed parts and supplies to the Director when inventory is low.
• Organize tools, shovels and supplies for daily work activity.
• Record the daily number of gallons of water used per irrigation cycle (in the absence of the Lead Irrigation Technician).
• Conduct maintenance checks to ensure the development of new sod, landscape plant material and trees. Assure that the watering takes place on a timely basis.
• Prepare sprinkler system when homeowners conduct construction or renovations to their homes. Locate heads and lines where applicable.
• Follow all verbal and written instructions for repair work on irrigation system.
• Maintain flexible schedule for “service calls” if irrigation issues arise after normal working hours.
• Process irrigation time clocks for shipping and repair.
• Repair large underground main breaks.
• Prepare weekly reports for work hours and areas completed.
