Audubon Institute in New Orleans, LA is seeking an Irrigation Technician to operate, repair, and maintain the golf course irrigation system under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent.
Two years of related experience, ability to work underground, troubleshoot, weld, and a right-first-time attitude are required; knowledge of Rain Bird controllers is a plus.

The Irrigation Technician, under the supervision of the Golf Course Superintendent/Assistant Superintendent, is responsible for the programming, operation, repair, and maintenance of the golf course’s irrigation system.
Active Work: exerting up to 25 pounds of force occasionally, or a necessary amount of force frequently to lift, carry, push, pull, or otherwise move objects, including the human body. May involve walking or standing for extended periods of time.
Sitting or standing, bending, stooping, and the ability to carry items weighing up to 80 pounds.
