Job summary

Mariani Enterprises LLC is seeking an Irrigation Service Technician to maintain, troubleshoot, and repair watering systems for residential and commercial properties. You will perform seasonal maintenance, diagnose issues, and program controllers to ensure healthy landscapes.

Ideal candidates have 2–3+ years of irrigation experience, Backflow Certification (preferred), a valid driver's license, and the ability to work outdoors and lift up to 50 lbs.

Qualifications

• Certification: Backflow Certification preferred and state licensing.
• Experience: 2–3+ years irrigation troubleshooting, assembly, and plumbing.
• Physical: Must be able to work outdoors in various weather conditions and lift up to 50 lbs.
• Technical: Strong understanding of hydraulics, electrical wiring, and controller troubleshooting.
• Valid Driver’s License: Required to operate company vehicles.

Responsibilities

• System Maintenance: Perform spring start-ups, mid-season audits, and winterization blow-outs to prevent freeze damage.
• Troubleshooting & Repair: Diagnose hydraulic and electrical issues, locate buried lines, and repair or replace broken sprinkler heads, valves, and pipes.
• Water Management: Program and adjust computerized irrigation controllers to maximize water efficiency and prevent overwatering or runoff.
• Customer Service: Communicate repair needs, recommend system upgrades to clients, and complete necessary service request paperwork.
