Job summary

Inn of the Mountain Gods is seeking a skilled Irrigation Technician to operate, service, and repair the resort's irrigation and drainage systems on site. You will manage leaks, valves, controllers, and pumping stations while ensuring system reliability.

Qualified applicants have a high school diploma or GED, basic electrical/hydraulic knowledge, and golf course maintenance experience. A valid driver's license is required for on-site travel and prompt response to issues.

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of basic electricity, hydraulics, and computer related to an irrigation system, including automatic valves and controllers, and various types of pumps and pumping systems.
• Two years of IMGR&C golf course experience and knowledge of the game of golf.
• Valid Driver's license.

Responsibilities

• Operates, maintains, and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks in distribution lines, valves, risers.
• Repair control lines and sprinklers beads; maintain and repair the master and satellite controllers.
• Operates and maintains pumping station; on call at all times for leaks and repair.
• Give instructions on repair and replace broken sprinklers, pumps, risers, controllers, valves, and PVC lines.
