Job summary

Country Club of Colorado in Colorado Springs, CO is seeking a full-time Irrigation Technician to operate, service, and repair the irrigation system across the golf facility. The role includes preventive maintenance of lake circulation and water features, and daily logging of repairs.

Qualified candidates will have a college/technical certificate or 3–6 months related experience, plus a valid Driver’s License; DOE pay range applies. Regular attendance and safety practices are expected.

Qualifications

• Certificate from college or technical school; or three to six months related experience and/or training; or equivalent combination and experience.

Responsibilities

• Operates, services, and repairs the varied components of the irrigation system.
• Performs preventative maintenance on the irrigation system including the lake re-circulation system and water features.
• Determines wet and dry areas for adjustments of sprinkler heads.
• Maintains working knowledge of pump station maintenance requirements
• Operates, maintains and repairs a complex irrigation system, including leaks on the distribution lines, valve risers, electrical system, computer and irrigation control wire.
• Reports any serious irrigation breaks immediately to the Head Irrigation Technician or Superintendent and maintains a daily log of completed repairs.
