Job summary

City of Litchfield Park is seeking an Irrigation Maintenance Technician to lead installation and maintenance of irrigation systems across city parks and medians. You will inspect, audit, diagnose, and repair systems, and implement procedures for safe water delivery.

The role requires planning, developing preventative maintenance, and coordinating with teams to ensure compliance with water resources requirements. CDL not required but valid license is needed.

Qualifications

• Three years of experience in maintenance, operation, or construction of irrigation systems.
• Ability to read emails, contracts, specs, blueprints, and related materials.
• Valid Driver’s License and relevant certifications at job entry.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate projects with coworkers and contractors; may lead a small crew.
• Plan, design, and install irrigation systems for parks and facilities.
• Develop maintenance schedules to ensure regular servicing of irrigation equipment.
