Job summary

Ryan Lawn & Tree in Omaha, NE is seeking a hands-on Irrigation Specialist to diagnose, repair, and service residential and commercial irrigation systems while delivering top-tier customer service.

You will conduct system audits, upsell water-saving upgrades, perform startup/shutdown/winterization tasks, and manage client communications. Candidates must lift 50 lbs, hold a valid license, and pass safety checks.

Qualifications

• Experience: 2+ years in irrigation installation, service, or repair.
• Customer Service: Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push/pull objects, and walk at least 3 miles per day in diverse weather conditions.
• Driver’s License: Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment. All offers of employment are contingent upon successful completion of a pre-employment drug screen (including marijuana), criminal background check, MVR check, and DOT physical (where applicable) before starting employment.

Responsibilities

• Expert Irrigation Service: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial systems, including controllers, valves, heads, and piping.
• Sales & Consulting: Conduct system audits and recommend water-saving upgrades. We are looking for someone who can identify and sell enhancements that improve the client’s property.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Perform essential startups, shut-downs, and winterizations.
• Client Relations: Provide excellent account management by clearly communicating repairs and service recommendations to customers.
