Job summary

Ryan Lawn & Tree is hiring an irrigation specialist to diagnose, service, and repair residential and commercial systems. You will conduct system audits, propose upgrades, and drive customer-focused solutions.

This is a safety-sensitive, full-time role with growth opportunities and a strong emphasis on client relations. The position requires 2+ years of irrigation experience, a valid driver’s license, the ability to lift 50 lbs, and standing/walking in varied weather.

Qualifications

• 2+ years in irrigation installation, service, or repair.
• Strong interpersonal skills are a must.
• Valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• Physical ability to lift 50 lbs., push/pull, and walk ~3 miles daily.
• SAFETY-SENSITIVE position with pre-employment screening and DOT checks where applicable.

Responsibilities

• Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair irrigation systems for residential and commercial sites.
• Provide sales consulting and recommend water-saving upgrades.
• Perform startup, shutdown, and winterization tasks seasonally.
• Maintain clear communication of repairs and recommendations with clients.

Salary range of $50,000 - $65,000 depending on experience

What You’ll Be Doing (Key Responsibilities)

• Expert Irrigation Service: Diagnose, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial systems, including controllers, valves, heads, and piping.
• Sales & Consulting: Conduct system audits and recommend water-saving upgrades. We are looking for someone who can identify and sell enhancements that improve the client’s property.
• Seasonal Maintenance: Perform essential startups, shut-downs, and winterizations.
• Client Relations: Provide excellent account management by clearly communicating repairs and service recommendations to customers.

Requirements

• Experience: 2+ years in irrigation installation, service, or repair.
• Customer Service: Outstanding interpersonal skills are a must.
• Physical Ability: Must be able to lift 50 lbs., push/pull objects, and walk at least 3 miles per day in diverse weather conditions.
• Driver’s License: Must have a valid Driver’s License and a clean driving record.
• SAFETY-SENSITIVE POSITION: This is a safety-sensitive position requiring the operation of vehicles and equipment.
