Valley Tree Care in Phoenix, Arizona is expanding its irrigation division and seeks an experienced Irrigation Service Technician to design, install, and maintain residential irrigation systems. You will program controllers, audit systems for efficiency, and work on high-end homes with attention to safety and quality.

Qualifications

• Proven experience in irrigation system design and installation (min 2 years preferred).
• Expert knowledge of manual, automatic and computerized irrigation systems and water conservation practices.

• Driven and self-motivated, as you will be working alone the majority of the time.

About the position:

Compensation: $23 - $27 / hour depending on qualifications and experience

Job Description:

• Setup and program irrigation controllers.
• Inspect, repair, audit, maintain and install irrigation systems.
• Cut, thread, weld, install and repair various pipes used in irrigation systems.
• Design and set up low voltage lighting systems.
• Primarily working with high-end residential properties.
• Set an example for the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements:

• Growth oriented, proactive, problem solving, and professional.
• Proven experience in irrigation system design and installation (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Expert knowledge of manual, automatic and computerized irrigation systems and water conservation practices.
• Strong dedication to safety.
• Driven and self-motivated, as you will be working alone the majority of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record (REQUIRED)
• Irrigation Certifications: A plus, but not required.
• Company will assist you in obtaining Irrigation Certification, if you aren’t certified already.
