Job summary

Valley Tree Care LLC is seeking a seasoned Irrigation Technician to join our growing Phoenix-based team. You will design, install, and service irrigation systems for high-end residential properties, advancing the development of our new Irrigation Division within a fast-growing, family-owned company.

This role emphasizes safety, quality, and initiative. Candidates should have 2+ years in irrigation design/installation, hold a valid driver’s license, and be eager to obtain irrigation certification

Qualifications

• Minimum 2 years experience in irrigation design and installation.
• Valid driver’s license with clean record.
• Irrigation certifications are a plus.
• Experience with manual, automatic and computerized irrigation systems and water conservation.

Responsibilities

• Help design irrigation systems.
• Setup and program irrigation controllers.
• Inspect, repair, audit, maintain and install irrigation systems.
• Cut, thread, weld, install and repair pipes used in irrigation systems.
• Design and set up low voltage lighting systems.
• Primarily working with high-end residential properties.
• Set an example for the highest standards of safety and quality.

Compensation:

$24 - $31 / hour depending on qualifications and experience

Lot in North Phoenix - Deer Valley & I17, Service Valley Wide

Job Description:

• Help design irrigation systems.

Requirements:

• Growth oriented, proactive, problem solving, and professional.
• Proven experience in irrigation system design and installation (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Expert knowledge of manual, automatic and computerized irrigation systems and water conservation practices.
• Strong dedication to safety.
• Driven and self-motivated, as you will be working alone some of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record (REQUIRED)
• Irrigation Certifications: A plus, but not required.
• Company will assist you in obtaining Irrigation Certification, if you aren’t certified already.
