Job summary

Valley Tree Care LLC is seeking an experienced Irrigation Technician in Phoenix, Arizona, to build our new Irrigation Division. The ideal candidate will program irrigation controllers, inspect and install systems, and design low voltage lighting systems.

We seek a proactive professional with a minimum of 2 years of experience. A valid driver’s license is required, and irrigation certification assistance is available.

About the Position

Valley Tree Care is building an extraordinary Irrigation Division and we are looking for an experienced Irrigation Technician in the Phoenix Valley.

Compensation

$23 - $25 / hour depending on qualifications and experience.

Job Description

• Set up and program irrigation controllers.
• Inspect, repair, audit, maintain, and install irrigation systems.
• Cut, thread, weld, install, and repair various pipes used in irrigation systems.
• Design and set up low voltage lighting systems.
• Primarily work with high‑end residential properties.
• Set an example for the highest standards of safety and quality.

Requirements

• Growth‑oriented, proactive, problem‑solving, and professional.
• Proven experience in irrigation system design and installation (minimum 2 years preferred).
• Expert knowledge of manual, automatic and computerized irrigation systems and water conservation practices.
• Strong dedication to safety.
• Driven and self‑motivated, as you will be working alone the majority of the time.
• Valid driver’s license and clean record (required).
• Irrigation certifications: A+ preferred but not required.
• Company will assist in obtaining irrigation certification if you aren’t certified already.
