Job summary

Leibold Irrigation, Inc. is seeking an Irrigation Project Assistant Supervisor to support the installation of a complete irrigation system at Saucon Valley Country Club in Bethlehem, PA.

This role involves coordinating daily field operations, assisting with installation crews, and ensuring safety and quality standards are met. You will work alongside the Project Supervisor on a 63-hole site, gaining hands‑on experience with pump stations, piping, wiring, control systems, and GPS tech while

Qualifications

• Working knowledge of golf course operations is required.
• Mechanical aptitude and practical problem‑solving skills.
• Ability to read plans and follow detailed instructions.
• Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record.
• Strong organizational and communication skills.

Responsibilities

• Assist in supervising daily irrigation installation activities.
• Coordinate daily assignments with the Project Supervisor.
• Lead by example through professionalism and dependability.
• Assist with locating utilities in coordination with local providers.
• Perform GPS-related work during mainline and lateral installations.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans, drawings, and specifications.
• Assist with installing pipe, fittings, wire, valves, and irrigation heads.
• Assist with programming irrigation stations across the property.
• Help maintain project schedules and quality standards.
• Support site safety procedures and accountability.
• Communicate effectively with crew, vendors, and leadership.
