Job summary

Monrovia is seeking an experienced Irrigation Coach to lead the irrigation team across our nursery in Georgia. This hands-on role manages daily operations, schedules, and system uptime for pumps, wells, filtration, and fertigation, while driving water conservation and best practices.

You will mentor Irrigation Craftsmen, partner with the Plant Protection and Quality teams, and ensure reliable irrigation across multiple growing areas, including weekend on-call coverage when needed.

Qualifications

• Minimum of 3-5 years irrigation experience in nursery/agriculture settings.
• Strong understanding of irrigation scheduling and fertility programs.

Responsibilities

• Lead Irrigation Craftsmen and set the daily Plan of the Day (IPOD).
• Own irrigation scheduling and system uptime across pumps, wells, filtration, controllers, and fertilizer injection.
• Troubleshoot, repair, and install irrigation and fertigation systems with emphasis on water conservation.
• Collaborate with Plant Protection Coach, Crop Grower Coaches, and LQC on water quality and fertility.
