Job summary

Downtown Boulder Partnership seeks an Irrigation Manager to lead our irrigation division, meet with clients, develop proposals and schedules, and guide technicians on site. You will build budgets, forecast finances, and pursue initiatives to increase sales, profitability, market share, and customer satisfaction.

The role requires strong leadership, negotiation, and CRM proficiency to manage complex commercial landscapes.

Qualifications

• Proven irrigation management experience, preferably in commercial landscapes.
• Strong understanding of plant and turf types and market dynamics.
• Excellent negotiation, problem-solving and interpersonal communication skills.
• Proficiency with CRM software and standard office tools.
• Ability to multitask, prioritize, and adapt to changing priorities.
• Degree in business/marketing or related field preferred.
• Industry certifications are a plus but not required.

Responsibilities

• Lead irrigation division and manage technicians, ensuring proper training.
• Meet with clients, develop proposals, estimates, and schedules.
• Coordinate projects with operations and branch management.
• Develop budgets, forecasts, and plans to grow sales and profits.
• Ensure safety and regulatory compliance on all sites.
• Maintain thorough documentation of work and parts used.
• Build and nurture relationships with developers, HOA boards, and directors.
• Meet prospective clients and prepare take-offs and bids.
• Schedule deliveries, subcontractors, and equipment to sites.
• Monitor site progress, quality, and safety performance.
