The candidate will install, troubleshoot, and repair systems, manage a crew, handle scheduling and billing, and coordinate with subcontractors and vendors. A strong background in irrigation and leadership is essential.

Qualifications

• 5+ years in irrigation with diagnostics and repair.
• Strong time management and communication across formats.
• Experience leading a crew or team.
• Proficient with Hydrawise and other WiFi-based controllers.
• Comprehensive computer skills including Google Suite.
• Ability to learn internal ERP platform and use scheduling/billing tools.
• Valid driver's license and ability to pass a background check.
• Physically capable to dig, lift, bend, and stand for long periods.

Responsibilities

• In the field: install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial irrigation systems.
• Handle complex service calls, startups, inspections, and blowouts.
• Work with various water sources and two-wire/multi-strand systems.
• Support landscape maintenance and snow program in off-season.
• Lead and develop irrigation technicians, including hands-on teaching.
• Build and manage seasonal startup/inspection/blowout schedules.
• Manage repair schedules and communicate with accounts team.
• Review and process billing to ensure accurate invoicing.

What You'll Do:

In the Field:

• Install, troubleshoot, and repair residential and commercial systems
• Handle complex service calls, startups, inspections, and blowouts
• Work with two-wire and multi-strand systems, well and town water sources
• Support landscape maintenance and our snow program in the off-season

Managing the Department:

• Lead and develop our irrigation technicians including hands on teaching
• Build and manage the seasonal schedule for startups, inspections, and blowouts
• Manage repair schedule and communicate clearly and accurately to accounts team
• Review and process billing so work gets invoiced accurately and on time
• Communicate and manage subcontractors and vendors as needed
• Track parts, inventory, and job documentation

What You Need:

• 5+ years in irrigation, including diagnostics and repair
• Must have strong time management skills
• Must have strong communication skills through multiple formats
• Experience leading a crew or team
• Proficient with installing and maintaining Hydrawise and other WiFi-based controllers
• Must have comprehensive computer skills including Google Suite
• Must have the ability to learn internal ERP platform
