Job summary

Tessera is hiring an Irrigation Technician Lead at FE Warren AFB in Cheyenne, WY. This full-time, day-shift role requires driving and offers comprehensive benefits including health coverage and retirement plans.

The lead technician will supervise the crew, diagnose irrigation system issues, install and adjust equipment, and ensure safety and contract compliance. Strong troubleshooting, leadership, and documentation skills are essential.

Qualifications

Three (3) or more years of experience installing, maintaining, troubleshooting, and repairing commercial irrigation systems.
Advanced knowledge of irrigation components, including controllers, valves, sprinklers, sensors, pumps, and related electrical and mechanical systems.
Proven ability to lead by example, provide technical guidance, train team members, and coordinate daily work activities.

Responsibilities

Perform and lead daily irrigation maintenance, repair, troubleshooting, and installation activities to ensure systems operate efficiently and meet contract requirements.
Serve as the lead irrigation technician by providing day-to-day guidance, technical expertise, and support to team members.
Troubleshoot, diagnose, and repair irrigation system issues, including controllers, valves, sprinklers, timers, sensors, wiring, and related components.
Install, adjust, test, and maintain irrigation equipment for proper coverage and optimal performance.
Monitor system performance, identify leaks and inefficiencies, and recommend corrective actions.
