Qualifications

• Strong knowledge of landscape design and irrigation systems.
• Experience with power tools and landscape maintenance.
• Understanding of water conservation and irrigation controllers.
• Ability to read, diagnose, and repair irrigation systems.
• Ability to perform routine maintenance and track issues.
• Solid problem-solving and communication with stakeholders.

Responsibilities

• Maintain and repair irrigation systems using hand tools and equipment.
• Ensure high quality landscaping across Dallas College locations.
• Install, maintain, and repair irrigation systems emphasizing water conservation.
• Operate and maintain irrigation and landscape equipment.
• Report repair problems to Facilities Manager and keep records.
• Troubleshoot low voltage irrigation electronics and time clocks.
• Collaborate with facilities teammates to deliver safe grounds for the campus.
• Complete required professional development hours annually.
