Job summary

Environmental Management Inc. is seeking an experienced Landscape Irrigation Installation Crew Leader in Columbus, OH to oversee residential, commercial, and municipal irrigation installs.

You will lead crews, coordinate field activities, ensure quality workmanship, and uphold safety standards for timely project delivery. The role requires hands-on leadership, strong irrigation knowledge, and the ability to troubleshoot issues in the field while maintaining a positive team environment.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of 3 years irrigation installation experience.
• Previous crew leadership or supervisory experience preferred.
• Strong knowledge of irrigation systems and components.
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints, irrigation plans, and construction documents.
• Working knowledge of irrigation controller programming and wiring.

Responsibilities

• Lead and supervise irrigation installation crew members on assigned projects.
• Delegate tasks and monitor crew productivity to ensure projects stay on schedule.
• Train and mentor crew members on installation techniques, safety procedures, and company standards.
• Coordinate daily activities with Superintendents, Foremen, and other field teams.
• Read and interpret irrigation plans, blueprints, specifications, and site layouts.
• Install irrigation systems including mainlines, lateral lines, valves, sprinkler heads, drip irrigation, controllers, and backflow devices.
