Job summary

Huitt-Zollars’ Dallas, Texas office is seeking an experienced Texas Licensed Irrigation Designer for an immediate full-time opportunity. The role involves designing irrigation systems that meet client requirements, schedules and budgets, and creating detailed installation drawings.

You will support landscape designers and senior staff, perform irrigation master planning, cost estimating, and assist with site analysis across a range of project types. Proficiency in AutoCAD and LandFX is required.

Qualifications

• Must hold Texas Licensed Irrigation Designer license.
• Minimum 2 years' experience as a designer.
• Proficient in AutoCAD and LandFX.

Responsibilities

• Evaluate site conditions, water availability and landscape development.
• Design an irrigation system that meets client requirements, schedule and budget.
• Create detailed drawings that specify products and installation methods.
• Assist landscape designers, landscape architects and senior staff with research, site analysis and irrigation construction documentation.
• Irrigation master planning, producing precise and consistent construction drawings, cost estimating, and landscape design assistance as needed.
