Job summary

The Gila River Indian Community is seeking a Civil Engineer (Irrigation) to oversee and manage engineering activities for the GRIIDD, including design, construction, and inspection of irrigation facilities. The role focuses on water management, SCADA, and regulatory compliance to support the General Manager.

Minimum education includes a Bachelor's in Engineering with at least three years of irrigation experience; a Master’s is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master in Agricultural or Civil Engineering with irrigation conveyance experience.
• Experience with SCADA and contract administration is required.
• Ability to prepare technical and administrative reports for multiple agencies.

Responsibilities

• Research and prepare technical and administrative reports for SCIP, CAP, and local agencies.
• Manage groundwater recharge projects and monitor operational aspects.
• Review drawings, plans, and cost estimates for planning and design.
