Job summary

Photronics is seeking a Manufacturing Process Engineer II - IRP in Boise, ID to drive inspection, repair, and printability of photomasks used in advanced semiconductor manufacturing. This on-site role emphasizes end-to-end quality assurance and defect handling.

You will own repair workflows with e-beam and AFM, define process windows, and work with process engineers to optimize yield, throughput, and equipment capability, while updating SOPs and training materials.

Qualifications

• Experience in semiconductor manufacturing or photolithography preferred.
• Knowledge of defect types and reticle quality impact.
• Strong documentation and data-analysis skills.

Responsibilities

• Inspect photomasks/reticles for defect types and printability risk using inspection systems.
• Develop and sustain repair capabilities using e-beam etch and AFM nanomachining.
• Perform printability verification with AIMS and collaborate with lithography engineers.
• Document SOPs, procedures, and qualification protocols for inspection, repair, and printability workflows.
• Collaborate in cross-functional DFx reviews, NPI, and technology transfer activities.
