Qualifications

• Knowledge of ironworker tools and proper usage.
• Rigging skills including wire rope slings.
• NCCER certification may be required at some sites.
• Written pre‑employment qualification test.
• Post‑offer drug/alcohol screen and physical evaluation.
• Client safety requirements must be followed.

Responsibilities

• Unload deliveries of structural material from the fabricator.
• Set up and break down hoisting equipment for lifting and placing structural elements.
• Bolt and align structural members; ensure proper final positioning.
• Assist with cutting steel members to required lengths.
