Turner Industries is seeking an Ironworker for a maintenance position in Pass Christian, MS. The role involves raising, placing and uniting girders and other structural-steel members to form completed structures.

It is a non-exempt position reporting to the Foreman and follows client-specific procedures. Essential qualifications include high school or equivalent, 1–4 years of experience, rigging skills, and safety compliance.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• 1–4 years of ironworker experience depending on level.
• Knowledge of ironworker tools and proper use.
• Rigging with wire rope slings.
• NCCER certification may be required on some sites.
• Pre-employment qualification test required.

Responsibilities

• Unloads deliveries of structural material and sets up hoisting equipment.
• Raises, places and unites girders, columns and structural-steel members.
• Bolts and aligns members; ensures proper position until bolting is complete.
• Follow safety requirements and use PPE as required by client.
