EXCEL Group is seeking a skilled Ironworker to join our dynamic team. You will assemble and install structural steel components for industrial projects, reading blueprints, performing layouts, and rigging heavy elements to ensure precise alignment and safe completion of projects.

We value welding knowledge, ability to read drawings, safe tool operation, and teamwork. OSHA 10/30 certifications are a plus; we offer comprehensive benefits and a competitive salary.

Qualifications

• Formal trade school preferred.
• Industrial ironworker experience in construction.
• Knowledge of welding techniques and fabrication.
• Ability to read and interpret drawings.
• Operate various hand and power tools safely.
• Rigging experience is a plus.
• Detail-oriented with accuracy.
• Physical stamina for varied weather.
• Strong teamwork and communication.
• OSHA 10/OSHA 30 certifications are a plus.

Responsibilities

• Read blueprints, schematics, and construction plans.
• Perform layout and measurement for accurate steel placement.
• Cut, shape, and fabricate steel with hand and power tools.
• Connect structural steel elements per specifications.
• Rig and hoist heavy components with cranes and equipment.
• Coordinate with team for proper alignment and fit.
• Follow safety guidelines to prevent accidents.
• Maintain tools and equipment in good condition.
• Meet project deadlines and manage time effectively.
• Communicate progress with supervisors and team.
• Participate in regular safety meetings and policies.
