Job summary

AV Decking seeks experienced ironworkers for various structural and miscellaneous steel erection projects. You will work on layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel while following prints and safety standards.

Responsibilities include cutting, positioning, drilling, bolting or welding steel, setting reinforcing bars, and reading blueprints. Travel will be required on assignments across sites.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Ability to lift 70 lbs and meet physical demands.
• Must hold TWIC card and OSHA 10 certification.
• Willingness to travel is required.

• Cut and position steel bars to reinforce concrete.
• Drill holes into steel and bolt or weld pieces in place.
• Set reinforcing bars into forms and tighten cables.

Responsibilities

• Knowledgeable in layout, rigging, connecting, bolting and welding steel by following prints and instructions while guaranteeing all quality and safety standards are met.
• Cut, position, and bold down steel bars to reinforce concrete.
• METAL DECKING
• Drill holes into steel for bolts.
• Bolt or weld pieces in place.
• Set reinforcing bars into forms to hold concrete.
• Tighten cables.
• Read and follow blueprints, sketches and other instructions.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or its equivalent
• Must be able to lift 70lbs and withstand the physical demands of erecting steel
• Possess a TWIC card
• OSHA 10
• WILLING TO TRAVEL
