Job summary

TIC_Craft is seeking an Ironworker to lay out, install and erect steel components per blueprints and standards. Responsibilities include rigging, welding, hoisting and ensuring precise alignment on site.

Candidate should read drawings, fabricate steel parts, and operate hand and power tools safely while complying with safety rules. Valid driver’s license preferred and willingness to work overtime as required.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent with related experience.
• Ability to read and follow blueprints and specifications.
• Excellent communication with supervision and team.
• Proficient use of hand and power tools safely and efficiently.

Responsibilities

• Read specifications or blueprints to determine material quantities and sizes.
• Fabricate metal parts per blueprints or supervisor instructions.
• Unload and position prefabricated steel units for hoisting and guide crane operations.
• Verify alignment of structural steel members using plumb bobs, lasers, transits or levels.
• Cut, bend, or weld steel pieces using torches or welding equipment.
• Assemble hoisting equipment and riggings to move heavy equipment or materials.
• Bolts structural members for permanent riveting, bolting, or welding.
• Observe safety and project rules and pass pre-access drug/alcohol testing.
