Job summary

G-10 CONSTRUCTION LLC is seeking an experienced Welder/Fitter to join our team in a full‑time, on‑site role in Kansas. You will weld and fit parts to fabricate metal structures, interpret blueprints, and ensure high-quality assemblies.

Training is available for candidates with a strong welding background and a detail‑oriented mindset. The ideal candidate has MIG, TIG and stick welding skills, reads drawings accurately, and uses precision measuring tools.

Qualifications

• Experience as Welder/Fitter or similar role.
• Proficient in MIG, TIG and stick welding.
• Ability to read blueprints and drawings with precision.
• Familiar with calipers, micrometers and common measuring tools.
• Safety-conscious and able to work both independently and in a team.

Responsibilities

• Weld and fit components to fabricate metal structures.
• Read blueprints, schematics and drawings for fabrication.
• Fabricate and assemble parts with accuracy.
• Use calipers, micrometers and hand tools to measure.
• Operate welding equipment and assist with crane-heavy tasks.
• Inspect welds to ensure quality and join projects timely.

Job description

We are seeking a skilled Welder/Fitter to join our team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for welding and fitting tasks to fabricate and assemble metal structures according to specifications. If you have a strong background in welding, fitting, and a keen eye for detail, we want to hear from you.

Responsibilities:

• Perform welding and fitting tasks using various techniques and tools
• Read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and engineering drawings
• Fabricate and assemble metal components accurately
• Use hand tools, calipers, micrometers, and other measuring instruments
• Operate welding equipment such as soldering irons, rigging equipment
• Inspect welded structures to ensure they meet quality standards
• Collaborate with team members to complete projects efficiently
• Operate crane and other heavy machinery as needed

Requirements:

• Proven experience as a Welder/Fitter or similar role
• Proficient in welding techniques including MIG, TIG, and stick welding
• Familiarity with various hand tools and measuring instruments
• Ability to read and interpret blueprints and engineering drawings
• Strong attention to detail and precision in work
• Knowledge of safety procedures when operating welding equipment
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team
• Certification in welding is a plus, we are willing to train you
