Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge and understanding of MSDS sheets.

Responsibilities

• Lay out position, align, and fit components together for installation.
• Weld parts using arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via riggings or crane.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members using plumb bobs, laser, transits or levels.
• Connect columns, beams and girders with bolts per blueprints and supervisor instructions.
• Cut, bend and weld iron/steel pieces using torches and welding equipment.
