Job summary

Worley is seeking an experienced on-site installer/welder to select equipment, lay out assemblies, and perform welding and instillation on active project sites. The role emphasizes hands-on fabrication, precise alignment, and adherence to safety standards within a collaborative energy-industry environment.

The position supports large-scale construction efforts, requiring coordination with supervisors, rigging teams, and field crews to ensure timely, quality outcomes on site.

Qualifications

• Minimum 4 years in industrial construction/maintenance experience.
• Knowledge of safety rules and regulations.
• Knowledge and understanding of MSDS sheets with management/supervision.

Responsibilities

• Lay out position, align, and fit components together for installation.
• Set up equipment and weld parts using arc, submerged arc, or gas welding equipment.
• Hoist equipment and tools into location via riggings or crane.
• Verify vertical and horizontal alignment of structural-steel members using plumb bobs, laser, transits, or levels.
• Connect columns, beams, and girders with bolts per blueprints and supervisor guidance.
• Cut, bend, and weld iron/steel pieces using shears, torches, and welding equipment.
