Job summary

Southern Industrial Constructors, Inc. seeks an Ironworker Helper for a project in Clayton, NC. You will assist with installing, maintaining, and operating instruments and measuring devices, while adhering to safety procedures and quality standards.

Expect possible travel and a 3-month probationary period for benefits eligibility. The role requires physical work at heights, lifting up to 50 pounds, and following supervisor directions to support skilled trades and site operations.

Qualifications

• Skilled in both written and verbal communication.
• Complete all Safety and general job training as required by SIC.
• Observe SIC and Customer safety and quality processes and procedures at all times.

Responsibilities

• Assist in installing, maintaining and operating instruments and measuring devices.
• Load, transport, unload and furnish materials, tools, equipment and supplies to experienced craft workers.
• Maintain clean work areas and restock supplies as necessary.
• Perform work from scaffolding, ladders or other structures, including overhead and at heights.
• Lift and carry objects of varying weights and respond to dangerous conditions.
