Job summary

Matrix Service, Inc. is seeking a Safety and Structural Coordination role in Emporia, VA. The candidate will oversee inventory for structural crews and analyze ironwork projects to propose strategies for timely completion.

The position requires strong safety compliance, NCCER certification or equivalent safety training, and ability to collaborate with foremen to reallocate resources and maintain high quality work.

Qualifications

• Must pass Craft Skills Test at 70% or higher or have NCCER certification.
• Matrix Service Safety training, Process Safety Management training, S.T.A.R.T. Class and site-specific training completed.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate inventory of power tools, equipment and hoses for Structural crew.
• Analyze complex structural ironwork projects and recommend strategies to complete them.
• Review project status reports and reallocates resources to meet deadlines.
• Promote a strong safety culture within supervised crews.
• Attend weekly crew safety meetings and ensure employee engagement.
• Perform other job-related duties as assigned by supervision.
