Matrix Service is seeking an Ironworker Helper to assist skilled craftsmen in planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of structural steel elements. You will be part of a crew that raises, places, and unites girders, columns, and other framework components under supervision.
The role requires at least 3 years of refinery maintenance, turnaround, or construction experience, strict adherence to safety procedures, and the ability to meet physical demands including lifting up to 50 lbs
Assist skilled craftsmen by performing supportive duties as directed and work under immediate supervision. Assist in planning, layout, installation, testing, and repair of all types of iron work, and any combination of duties to raise, place, and unite girders, columns, and other structural‑steel members to form completed structures or structural frameworks as a member of the crew.

The pay rate will depend on the successful candidate’s qualifications and prior experience, specific skill set, geographic location, internal equity, and other factors influencing pay. As such, the actual salary may fall closer to one or the other end of this range, and in certain circumstances may fall outside the listed hiring range.
Hiring range: $25.00 - $29.00 per hour
Full range for this position, available over time: $29.00 per hour
