Job description

Iron Foundry Operator - Core room S2 SH3

Location: Onsite – Kohler, WI

Compensation: $26.55 per hour, plus $1.50 shift differential.

Shift: 3rd Shift, 9:30PM-6:18AM (Occasional mandatory overtime may be required).

Opportunity: Build a career you can be proud of at Kohler Co. This is a core room specialist role within the Foundry and Enamel Operations.

Responsibilities
  • Learn all operations of core machines and troubleshoot issues.
  • Maintain and monitor sand and resin systems, amine gassing system, and perform pattern changes.
  • Clean up sand delivery system belts and mixer at the end of the shift.
  • Know all processes of the core making process.
  • Move cores to and from the HWS core conveyor and from core boxes to pattern shop.
  • Must be PIV certified and LOTO certified.
  • Perform any assigned tasks by supervision.
  • Start times will be half hour before the normal start of shift to prepare for production.
